Here to listen, to support and to help

Do you sometimes feel pulled down with family problems or feel the past infects how you live your every day life?

Do you feel you are making the same mistakes or picking the same type of partner?

Have you experienced recent loss: of a job, a significant person or relationship? Loss can be devastating and overwhelming.

Do you have days where even getting out of bed feels as difficult as climbing Mount Everest?

Have you experienced being truly listened to without judgement, even for a few minutes? Counselling gives you the freedom to talk in a safe, confidential environment without being criticised or judged.

Exploration through counselling can bring new light and understanding to questions and promotes healthy change.

How I can help you

Face to face counselling for individuals, offering a safe space to express your true feelings, gain clarity about your situation and explore possibilities for change.

I also offer creative therapies: using sand & symbol work, clay, painting and visualisation can shift long-held blocks and anxieties, opening up new ways of being and understanding.

Help for parents and families to explore and resolve struggles and concerns around family relationships.

Sensitive and caring support for troubled youths (aged 10+), helping them build resilience and gain healthy clarity.

I'm passionate about diversity, working with culturally diverse people, supporting many from different cultures and religions equally.

I am experienced in working with people on the autistic spectrum and those who identify as neurodiverse.

In addition to face-to-face work, I also offer telephone and Skype sessions.

Why come to me?

I am an experienced counsellor who has worked both in private practice and in various organizations providing clinical and psychological support services. I have experience of dealing effectively and sensitively with vulnerable groups and I'm passionate about working with culturally diverse people, supporting many from different cultures and religions equally. I have extensive training and experience working with parents, and worked in palliative care and bereavement counselling. I have over 20 years supervised practice, and have delivered extensive counselling support via the telephone and Skype.

I am a Registered Triple P (Positive Parenting Programme) provider, and have full Enhanced CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) clearance.

Clients find me to be open, supportive and approachable. Through years of practice I have developed a deep understanding of the struggles people face in their lives, which allows me to listen to their stories without judging. People have dark corners in their lives that need the light of understanding. I am here to listen, to support and to help you find your own path through.

Feel free to contact me to discuss how we might work together or to book a session.
